Privacy Policy

BPPB is a private personal note-taking and logging utility for recording blood pressure readings from your own external blood pressure monitor. It is intended for personal recordkeeping only. We do not collect, sell, or share your saved readings, notes, or monitor photos.

What BPPB Is Not

BPPB is not a medical device, remote patient monitoring service, clinical decision support tool, diagnostic tool, or treatment tool. The app does not measure blood pressure using iPhone sensors and does not provide medical advice.

Information You Enter

BPPB lets you save personal notes that may include blood pressure readings, pulse values, reading dates, optional notes, and photos of blood pressure monitor displays. Because you may choose to record health-related information, you should treat anything you enter into the app as private.

How the App Uses Information

The app uses the information you provide to:

• Save your personal log on your device.
• Show your reading history and trends for your own reference.
• Extract suggested text from monitor photos using optical character recognition.
• Let you review and correct suggested values before saving them.

Local Storage

BPPB currently stores your saved readings locally on your device. The app does not currently provide an account system, backend server, cloud sync, advertising, or tracking. Your saved blood pressure readings, pulse values, notes, and imported monitor photos are not sent to us.

Photos

If you choose to import or capture a photo, BPPB processes the photo to identify possible blood pressure values. You can review and correct extracted values before saving them. BPPB does not claim that optical character recognition is always accurate.

Third-Party SDKs

BPPB uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition and related Google libraries for optical character recognition. These SDKs may process limited technical, diagnostic, performance, device identifier, product interaction, or other data as described by their own privacy disclosures and privacy manifests. BPPB does not use this information for advertising or tracking, and the developer does not operate a backend service that receives your saved readings.

Support Emails

If you email support, we will receive the email address, message content, and any information or attachments you choose to include. Please do not send private health information unless it is necessary for your support request.

Retention and Deletion

Your saved app data remains on your device until you delete individual readings or remove the app. Because BPPB does not operate an account or server for saved readings, we cannot view or delete the readings stored on your device for you. Support emails are retained only as needed to respond to your request and maintain support records.

Do not use BPPB as a substitute for professional medical care. Talk with a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions, and seek urgent medical help for concerning symptoms or emergency-range readings.

Your Choices

You control what readings, notes, and photos you add to the app. You can delete saved readings in the app. You can also control camera and photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
